At Prime Meridian Integrative Acupuncture our mission is to alleviate pain, improve function, and heal those with chronic conditions who wish to reduce or avoid opioid-based treatment.

Meet Dr. Jeff McKean
I’m a Doctor of Acupuncture and Chinese herbalist with specific interests in treating chronic pain, substance use disorders, and autoimmune conditions. Having completed additional doctoral training focused on acupuncture as part of an integrative and collaborative care team, I believe in a multi-modal approach to patient care wherein conventional and complementary medicines work together to achieve improved health outcomes.

Prime Meridian Integrative Acupuncture is a general practice acupuncture clinic providing acupuncture and holistic healthcare services for those suffering from a wide variety of musculoskeletal and systemic health challenges. What we offer
Electro-Acupuncture
This modern enhancement to traditional acupuncture uses gentle electrical stimulation on the needles to increase effectiveness for pain relief, neurological conditions, and muscular recovery.
Cupping Therapy
Glass or silicone cups create gentle suction on the skin to release muscle tension, improve circulation, and detoxify tissues. Cupping is a powerful therapy for back and shoulder pain, sports recovery, and stress relief.
Acupuncture
Gentle, precise placement of fine needles encourages the body’s natural healing response, restores balance to the nervous system, and promotes overall well-being. Acupuncture can support pain relief, stress reduction, digestive health, sleep, and more.
Moxibustion (Moxa Therapy)
This warming therapy uses dried mugwort (moxa) near acupuncture points to stimulate circulation, ease pain, and strengthen the body’s vital energy. It is especially beneficial for chronic pain, fatigue, and cold conditions.
Herbal Therapy
Customized herbal formulas are prescribed to address your unique constitution and health goals. Herbal therapy can complement acupuncture treatments to support immunity, digestion, hormonal balance, sleep, and more.
Cosmetic Acupuncture
A natural alternative to invasive procedures, cosmetic acupuncture improves skin tone, reduces fine lines, and stimulates collagen production. This holistic approach enhances your natural glow while supporting whole-body wellness.
Microneedling
Using fine, sterile needles, microneedling stimulates the skin’s natural repair process, improving texture, reducing scars, and enhancing elasticity. For best results, it can be combined with herbal serums or cosmetic acupuncture for a radiant, youthful appearance.

Cancellation policy
We value your time and the time of every patient we serve. Each appointment is reserved exclusively for you, and we take care to prepare your treatment room and schedule accordingly. To ensure fairness and respect for all clients:
Cancellations made within 24 hours of your appointment will incur a $60 late cancellation fee.
Missed appointments (“no-shows”) will be charged a $100 fee.
We understand that emergencies and unexpected situations arise. If you need to make changes, please call us as soon as possible. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation — this policy allows us to maintain availability and high-quality care for all of our patients.
